Current Research

I am interested in understanding how lifestyle behaviors change cardiovascular health. I primarily focus on nonclinical substance use and how these stressors can, over time, lead to health problems. While experimentation and co-use are becoming increasingly popular among young adults, their implications have yet to be fully explored. I am currently examining the relationship between heart rate variability and cannabis-alcohol co-use.
